Images from my exhibition in Dublin City Library & Archive, February 2012.
An exhibition of photographic montages and single images depicting beauty and banality, decay and restoration; what we discard, where we leave it and why we redeem it.
I see contradictions everywhere, in textures and human endeavours alike. It shakes me out of complacency, it makes me think. Our habitat responds in its own way, combining sharp and soft, damp and brittle, fluid and frozen and when images are combined I can sometimes see riddles. The answers may lie within you the viewer. Or maybe there aren't any?
