Flightfest, Dublin 15th Sept 2013. 130,000 people lined the banks of the Liffey to watch the fly-past by aircraft large and small from all over the world. Although I'm a bit of an aircraft nerd, for me it was more about the event than the planes. I wanted to capture them in realtion to what was happening on the ground, so I went to Dublin docklands where the cranes and gantries fractured the blue, and put the skies into context.
